Ron's Tech Net blocks many ads and trackers on the devices and connections it's set up for. It means fewer ads, not no ads: some ads, like YouTube's and many inside apps, still get through, and some devices, apps and settings go around it. It will sometimes block something you wanted — text us and we'll allow it. It also blocks website names that appear on published lists of known scam and malware sites, but those lists miss new and unlisted ones. It isn't antivirus software, and it doesn't protect any device or account from scams or hacking.

¶ Priority support: a request that reaches us at least an hour before we close gets a reply that day; later, or on a Sunday, by the end of the next business day. A reply is an answer or a plan, not the fix.
Yearly plans are paid once a year, plus tax — Pro, Ultra and Ultra Max cost about 10% less than 12 monthly payments; Standard costs the same either way. The saving is for a full year: cancel within 14 days of paying for a full refund; after that, your refund counts each month you’ve had at the monthly price. Extra devices and Family are billed monthly.

Within one business day after your first payment goes through, we set up your service and text you a personal setup link for each device — also waiting in My Tech Net.

Standard or Pro?
Standard is our standard settings on one phone, tablet or laptop. Pro covers up to 3, and you choose what else is blocked — and Family can be added. Not sure? Pro is the one most people pick.
What actually goes on my phone?
On an iPhone or iPad, a small settings profile. On Android, one setting. On a Windows laptop or a Mac, a setting or a small app. Each device gets its own personal setup link from us — the setup guide shows every step.
Does it work on mobile data and other people's Wi-Fi?
Yes. It works on any Wi-Fi and on mobile data, as long as our settings are on and turned on.
I use a VPN. Will it work?
When your VPN is on, it takes over and Tech Net’s filtering on that device pauses. Turn the VPN off to have Tech Net back. Tell us on the form and we'll talk it through before you're charged anything.
When am I charged?
Only when you pay through the Square link we send after you've signed the agreement. After that it renews monthly or yearly until you cancel, and every price is plus sales tax.
Can I cancel?
Any time, no fee — by text, email, phone or in person. Cancel before your renewal date and you won't be charged again. We'll show you how to remove our settings from each device.
Something stopped working after setup.
Text us. We'll allow the site or app you need. Change requests are unlimited and never charged.
