You never pay twice. Book the repair and the $35 comes straight off the bill — so on a tune-up you'd pay $75 plus tax, not $110 plus tax. The credit comes off the repair itself — a tune-up, virus removal, Windows reinstall, data recovery, router setup or hourly work — not off an install or a network diagnosis added to the same visit, which are charged as their own lines. Decide not to go ahead and you still leave with the written findings, yours to take anywhere. Where the symptoms call for it we go further than the nine — a memory test, thermals under load, a Windows event log review — at no extra charge.

If the problem we fixed comes back inside the window, we redo the work free — 10 days as standard, 90 days for founding customers.

It covers our labor and the service performed, not parts, new faults, or new slowdown from continued use.

Before we change anything on a drive, we take a working copy of your data. Free on every job. It’s a safety net while we work, not a substitute for your own backup.

Do I pay for the diagnostic if I go ahead?

Only once. The $35 comes off the repair itself — a tune-up, virus removal, Windows reinstall, data recovery, router setup or hourly work. An install or network diagnosis added to the same visit is charged as its own line.

You pay the $35 plus tax and keep the written findings, yours to take anywhere.
